How does the ordering process work?

Choose your favorite canvas style and size, upload or send 1-3 clear cat photos, then place your order. For catsketch.com, Facebook, and Instagram website checkout orders, use the photo upload field on the product page. For TikTok Shop orders, send your cat photo inside TikTok Shop Chat/messages after checkout. We create your custom artwork in the selected style and contact you if the photo is missing or unclear.

What kind of photo should I upload?

Use a bright, sharp photo where your cat's face, ears, eyes, and markings are visible. Front-facing or eye-level photos work best. Avoid blurry screenshots, heavy filters, dark rooms, photos from far away, or photos where the face is covered. Multiple angles can help if your cat has unique markings.

Do I upload my photo differently on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook?

Yes. TikTok Shop buyers should keep the order inside TikTok and send photos through TikTok Shop Chat/messages. Facebook and Instagram shoppers who check out on catsketch.com should upload the photo on the product page before adding the canvas to cart; checkout collects your email for proof and order updates.

Will I see a proof before printing?

For catsketch.com orders, we email your proof/order update to the email entered at checkout. For marketplace orders, we use that marketplace's order messaging tools. We do not print until the order has the photo information needed for production, and we contact you if the photo is unclear.

How is my portrait made?

Every CatSketch portrait is custom-made from the photo you send, in the canvas style you choose. It's built around your cat's face and markings — never a generic stock image — then carefully reviewed and prepared as gallery-wrapped wall art before printing.

How long does it take to receive my portrait?

After we receive a usable photo, artwork/proof preparation usually starts within 1-3 business days. After approval or production handoff, printing and shipping typically takes 5-8 business days within the US. Marketplace sync, review, or messaging delays can add time if the photo is missing.

What sizes are available?

We offer canvas sizes including 12×16, 18×24, and 24×36 inches on most styles. Each canvas is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang.

Can I get multiple pets in one portrait?

Most current CatSketch canvas listings are optimized for one cat per canvas so the face and markings stay clear. If you want multiple pets, contact us before ordering or include the request in your order notes so we can confirm whether the selected style can support it.

What if I don't like my preview?

Tell us what feels off before production begins. We can adjust the artwork before printing when the request is consistent with the chosen style and the source photo supports it. Once custom artwork or production begins, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

What is your return policy?

Because each canvas is personalized and made to order from your cat photo, we do not accept buyer-remorse or change-of-mind returns after artwork or production begins. Damaged, defective, incorrect, or platform-required issues are handled through catsketch.com support or the marketplace/order system where you purchased.

Can I order a portrait of a pet who has passed away?

Yes. Memorial portraits are welcome. Send the clearest photo you have, and include any notes about markings, eye color, personality, or the feeling you want the portrait to capture.
